Students! Stop Rioting! Become Domincans Instead!

Dominicans: Far more study, work and activity than your average student
Think about it. Years of study, all paid for. No tuition fees and a full-time vocation at the end of it all, as long as things go smoothly, 100% guaranteed, and you can go onto, yes, study even more.

Only downsides; no wild partying, drunken orgies, random shagging, copious drug-taking or egging on of your unruly, anarchistic, violent tendencies by left-wing ideologue tutors who just can't put those Karl Marx books back on the shelf. Well, significantly less, anyhow. If you really want to be taught by dangerous, liberal, Marxist superiors you can always join the Jesuits.

Still, when it comes to the Dominicans, what you lose in terms of worldly affairs you will gain in terms of brothers and sisters, virtue, happiness, scholarly discipline, hopefully, holiness of life, fulfillment and God willing, eternal glory. Look! See how those Dominicans love one another!

Interested? Click here. You know it makes sense because, let's face it, in 3 years time there will probably be even fewer jobs than there are today and Lynne Featherstone's new equality bill means you'll never know whether you didn't get that job because there was someone better than you, or whether you just didn't get that job because you're a man. Still, don't worry ladies, you too are catered for...

Here is the impressive Brother Lawrence Lew OP, recently ordained to the Diaconate, preaching on the Immaculate Conception of Our Blessed Lady. Now that's what I call 'higher education'!

Brilliant, except the Dominicans I have known rather like wild parties!
The order today is a different one from the 1970s model.
There was a newspaper report then of a well known Dominican in a cashmere sweater driving through Knightsbridge in a powder blue Rolls Royce convertible with the top down whilst puffing on a Monte Cristo cigar. Good to see them now in reform mode.
